Review: And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie
It would be very easy for an ensemble cast of 10 characters all conversing in largely the same location to become muddled and confusing. “Who is this again?” This book avoids that completely - every character has a well defined voice and is immediately recognizable when they speak. (The voices in the audiobook version I listened to certainly help as well.)
The intrigue keeps coming for the entire duration and never overstays its welcome. The rhyme is just the right amount of creepy and foreboding.
